HT Professional Recorder makes it possible to record conversations throughout a large room, even in situations where the people talking are located several feet away from the phone. Reinforces soft voices - even whispers - Ideal for college lectures, board meetings, and conferences, as well as dictation. Automatically skips silence during recording.
E-mail recordings as attachments, up to 30 minutes long.
Bookmarking feature makes it easy to remember and replay important moments. Overwrite capability makes it easy to correct dictation.
This is the recorder to get if you care how things sound when recorded at a distance. Signal processing algorithms capture conversations throughout a room, recording both near and distant voices clearly.
Transfer recordings up to 30 minutes in length via E-mail, and recordings up to 15 hours in length via WiFi using your computer's web browser or via an FTP server.
Note: Use on iPod Touch 2nd Generation requires external earbud microphone accessory. iPhone will not record during cellular phone calls.

this app is exactly as advertised, great quality sound recorder,perfect price, also the developer is a very nice person, I couldn't upload files to my computer and he worked with me until we solve the problem.

I have used 4 others but this one is the best in every category hands down! I highly recommend to all....
Better than the others, but not "slick"
I have several voice recording apps that are really slick with sophisticated graphics and intricate file transfer systems.
But Happy Talk has something none of the others have: REALLY GREAT SOUND!!!
The thing that makes the sound great is the ability to control the type of voice going in. I like to record the classes that I teach with my Etymotic headset. But that puts the microphone right next to my mouth.
The other recording app I used was too sensitive and causes all sorts of horrible distortions. I asked the company that made it if they could make a volume control and they said no. Apple wouldn't allow it.
But HappyTalk Recorder has a setting for "Very Close" that is EXACTLY what I needed.
Don't let the 1989 graphics and interface turn you off. This product is much better than its interface and instructions suggest.
The user manual (available on their web site) was written by someone who knows English well, but doesn't quite have all the best phrasing. Also, some of the steps are confusing where you're working on the iPhone in one step and then have jumped to your computer in the next without any warning.
But I would easily recommend this application over many of the others.
