HTML Colors allows you to easily select and preview colors for use in a web page. This program is useful for web developers who want to experiment with colors for their web sites.
- Select Text or Background
- Use the sliders to change the color values for Red, Green, and Blue
- Use the "Sample Text" area to see how your colors work together
- Use the "Random" button (or the "I feel lucky link" on the main page) to get a random set of foreground/background colors
HTML color codes (in the #RRGGBB) format are displayed for the Text and Background colors you choose.
Future versions will include:
- Ability to save color sets for later use
- Ability to email color sets to other users
- Ability to choose between RGB sliders or RBB "pickers"

What's New in Version 1.4
- Added a “Mode” button in the color chooser which allows you to switch between RGB Sliders and
- Added an “HTML Safe Colors” page which shows the legacy pallette of 216 safe colors.
- Removed “I Feel Lucky” link from main page, as there is now a “Random” button in the color chooser that does the same thing.
- Cleaned up the “Other programs” page a bit.

Simple. Very Usefull App!
This is a great app. It is very useful yet simple. Other color apps I have show web colors but are complicated and much more expensive. This is worth the .99 I paid!
The fact that it shows both background and text color on top of one another makes it stand out from all other color apps. My $10 apps don't do this and it is very helpful for previewing web colors.
Dev is very responsive and open to suggestions for new and extended features. Great cust. service!
*UPDATE* The added features of 1.4 are great! Now I get sliders and a complete list of safe colors. This app just keeps getting better with even more features coming. Thanks Kevin!
excellent app.
Useful tool beautifully implemented. I've been hand-coding html for a decade, so I'm already pretty solid at guessing the shades I want by hex value -- and still, using this app is helping me refine my guessing skills and my sense of the subtle changes. (Obviously it's useful as an exact reference too, but for more experienced users I wanted to point out the broader benefit that comes from just playing with it.)

This little app saves time when trying to get the right color combo for my PowerPoint slide creations. I wish RGB was also listed. Thanks!
