Great features but glitchy
Update: the previous update seemed to help it not crash quite so much. But this latest update broke what it said it would fix. My icon was fine, and now it is blank white.
I want to love this app, but it's the glitchiest one on my phone. Requires rebooting phone fairly often. Requires re-entering provider info sometimes, and sometimes doing so still gives me a blank grid.
I get the impression that most glitches, crashes, disappearing info, etc. is related to either ads trying to come up or the reminder to rate the app getting ready to pop up. One or the other of these often comes up after reboot and before the app works right again.
I'd gladly pay for an ad-free version of this. Lots of great info, quick access to listings, I LOVE that this guide identifies season and episode number for the listings.
I'd love to see more flexible alerts. Only choices are for new episodes or all episodes. Sometimes I just want a particular episode that is not new, without having to be alerted to ALL episodes. I pretty much use Favorites instead of Alerts and just check the upcoming episodes from there.
Glitchy as this is, I haven't seen a better TV guide app and there is a lot here to like. Here's hoping bugs will be fixed.
