I will never need to buy another calculator!
At first I was balking at paying $24.99 for i41CX w/printer but still having a functional physical HP 11C calculator I decided to go head and get it. Now I am glad I did. I will not ever need to buy another calculator! This one will do more than I am likely to need. I found PDF files for the original's (the actual physical device) two volume user manual plus the "mini-manual that comes with it. I haven't even looked at the CAS scripting language yet. I remember the first LED calculators and spelling SHELL OIL upside down on them using the number keys since it did hexadecimal it only had letters A-F. They have improved on the original. I especially like being able to email the printer tape, to add a default email address in the app, to be able to make jpgs of the printer tape, that you can email the register values and load them back into the calculator from the email. There is a huge (and I do mean huge) repository of all kinds of things for the i41CX including original programs from the physical calculator that you can go ahead and load into it. Then there are custom overlays, skins and customized LCD displays...lots more than that. I've spent the last two days just digging into what all it can do.
Good calculator, but loading time could be reduced
This is a very good calculator, but ... it takes so long to start up (11 seconds on my 3GS) that I've started doing more and more quick calculations using the Apple built-in calculator.
