Very cool, way too short for $3
If it came with some kind of endless bombing mode this would be 5 stars, and feel more like it's worth the money.
As is it is a really good fun game. Nearly flawless and pretty neat graphics.
But when it comes to value for you gaming dollar it falls short. Especially when so many action games that cost less and are of equal quality have vastly more content. It is expected by most gamers to have their action games with survival or endless built in.
That said. I love this game. I am literally left hungry for a lot more. You decide for yourself if 12 short missions (but really good and highly entertaining!) is worth the money. You will get high quality. Just not so much in the depth of experience area.
Personally with no endless (however that could work) it's a $1 game. And although I thoroughly enjoyed the campaign I feel a little let down all things considered.
Not enough gameplay for the $$$
I loved the original ibomber, paid full price for it ($2.99), and waited months for new levels to come out- never happened. Then we get ibomber 2, only 12 short missions that last 2 to 5 minutes each, and again a $2.99 app. I'm guessing the next time Cobramobile writes new levels we'll be paying for it as "ibomber 3". Really it's a great game, but they're too cheap on content for the price they're charging. Yes it left me wanting more but it also left me feeling like a sucker. I won't fall for it again with ib3.
Excellent gameplay
Once you learn to adjust your speed to balance accuracy with damage taken, it is really fun. Amazing graphics and gameplay. Multiple difficulty levels are a great addition.
Completed elite on all levels finally. The key to Crossbow is don't fly directly over the flak towers. Thread your way, get all the targets, and you can win it at elite.
