With these, iCody transforms your iOS device into a highly professional Barcode scanner.
For more specific needs use the new HTTP POST transmission mode: Barcodes will be send by HTTP POST to your server and iCody even waits and presents a feedback if you want to.
The included callback functionality lets iCody interact with other applications and websites using the icody:// URL scheme. So you could set up a Filemaker GO database and use iCody as an external scanner - also in combination with Linea Pro or Mobilogics.
Even offline without any connected computer iCody works. The scanned barcodes are saved and later can be transmitted, used in WebScan or callback, exported via iTunes, or emailed - one, some, all. This is best practice for doing batch scanning of a big number of Barcodes: Scan all barcodes – anywhere and anytime – and send them to the computer whenever you want and however you like.

*IMPORTANT: iCody needs the autofocus capabilities of the iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4(S) and works only limited with the front facing camera and the iPod touch 4G and the iPad 2. The scanning results with this cameras/devices can be improved by using an optional optical lens (macro lens).

Good inexpensive solution for a lot of organizations
This is a great, inexpensive solution for a lot of companies and non-profits looking for a way to easily record things like event attendees, payments and so forth directly into cloud solutions like QuickBase, or into Excel for upload immediate transfer to the computer or for later batch upload. The system is point-and-click setup (on Mac haven't tried on PC yet) and took about 1/2 an hour to start successful scanning. Occasional scan upload errors but the scans saved in the app are all perfectly accurate. Very responsive and dedicated customer service. This is a perfect solution especially for small to medium sized organizations that don't' want to invest in very expensive enterprise systems.
Excellent solution for iPhone
We've wanted to add scan support for our mobile web app using the iPhone camera but don't want to have to run in PhoneGap or have to write/procure logic for bar code interpretation. For a mere couple of bucks this app gives us what we needed.
