Why people love the App:
"I had Routesy and while it did the job, it crashed 70% of the time, was slow and was not pretty. This application is completely the opposite. It is so much better with the 1.1. It works ALL the time, doesn't crash, is pretty to look at and it's efficient. It's also FAST. Thanks" -- by The Go Getter

"Visited SF last month and the app did exactly what it promised. We navigated the city perfectly" -- by FunkyTN

"I just moved here and this application has pretty much been my guide to the city. It's, by far, the most useful app I have" -- by nardokid

Customer Reviews

If only the MTA NextBus system worked as well!

One of the most Utilized apps on my iPhone. As a Muni rider 24/7, I suspect whoever designed this, lives in the City and thinks like a frequent rider. Routesy is great too, but once I saw Nearby Stops on the lite version, I did not hesitate to pay for the full version. I had often wished it was available on Routesy. Now I can plan where to go and what I'm going to go next based on these logistics. Even better, the larger type, great design, easy to find, and easy to read format, so necessary when I'm in a hurry. The only thing that bugs me, and I don't know if it has anything to do with the app, the app splash screen takes way too long before the app is usable. (HURRY UP... PLEASE!!!!)

Has AC transit and is simple to use

Unlike Routesy (which says it is for the bay area) iCommuteSF actually includes AC transit for the east bay. This why I downloaded it. It is also very simple and quick to use. I use this app each time I am heading to a bus stop and it is only a few very quick clicks to get to the stop that I want. I just click favorite routes, the direction the it quickly scrolls to the closest stop and i click one more time to get arrival times (for total of just 3 clicks). I could save more stops to favorites to make it faster. It seems to have trouble connecting when im almost out of range of a familiar wifi connection. It seems like it tries to connect through wifi first, but works better once im fully out of range of a network. This can be little troublesome because i am often leaving a familiar place while standing at a bus stop, so i barely pick up some wifi that i use regularly. I just click refresh a bunch of times until the nextbus feed times comes up. Nice app, keep up the good work.

Crap

Total crap especially at $2.99, can't plot routes from point A to B, with needed transfers. Google maps does all this & more, besides being free.
