Limited app and these guys are customer service JERKS
Downloaded the free App a month ago. Immediately received an email from Worldmate advising they had a special subscription of $19.99 if I upgraded to gold. Clicked on the link in the email which took me to itunes for the download. Was charged the full $39.99+tax by itunes. Contacted Worldmate to ask for this to be resolved. Below is how they responded:

Unfortunately, this Email was outdated, and the prices on it were no longer accurate. Thanks to your report we were able to spot this inaccuracy and fix it in a timely manner, and we are sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Due to Apple's iTunes App Store policies, we cannot sell the iPhone Gold app – except through the App Store, or provide subscriptions to it for free. For the same reason we also can’t provide any discounts at the moment, or issue a partial refund.
Unfortunately, this is Apple's policy and is out of our hands.
However, we’d like to offer you a free 3-months subscription to WorldMate Live (a 25$ value gift). We are giving you the opportunity to grant this subscription to one person of your choice as a gift. This subscription can be used on Blackberry and Pocket PC devices. It cannot be used on iPhone devices, as explained above.

Duhhhhhh.... They just admitted to making a mistake. Then blame itunes for not being able to resolve it and their way to remedy this is to give me a free 3 month subscription to their service on a Blackberry or Pocket PC device. Ummmmm... I have an iphone.
Of course they did say I could pass the free subscription to someone else.
So they screwed me. Admitted they screwed me. And then want me to promote their product to a friend???
I complained about their poor response and suggested the way to remedy the situation was to send me a check for the difference. They responded saying they could not do this but to REALLY make it up to me they would increase the value of the free subscription from 3 months to 1 year.
They are hopeless jerks.
World Mate Gold... NOT WORTH IT
I purchased WorldMate Gold so I could get the pushed updates on scheduled flights. On our first trip with World MateGold, our flight was cancelled. WORLDMATE GOLD GAVE NO NOTICE OF OUR FLIGHT BEING CANCELLED! We found out the flight was cancelled by other means. Had we trusted WorldMate Gold, we would have wasted a lot of time and might have been stuck away from home for several extra days. Unfortunately, because of this experience, WorldMate Gold is not worth the money.
Use free one
It is a good program but not as good as the palm one. The biggest difference between $20.00 and free is flight status. This program should be $4.99 at best. You have been warned. Free. Free.
