=The Basis of MandalArt=
Initially, MandalArt started out from a notebook. After the release of HyperCard version for Macintosh in 1995, MandalArt made its foray into the digital field. Having been ported to many platforms, Newton, Windows, Palm, and so on, iPhone version of MandalArt -- iMandalArt has finally been introduced.
You may have complicated images about MandalArt, however, its basis is very simple.
Draw a 3 x 3 grid consisting of nine cells, and in the center cell, write down what you would like to think of.
Next, on surrounding cells, write down what you would associate or something related to the center cell.For the basics, this is it.
Repeat this process again and again. Your aim to do something, and things that you would like to think of, will become more clear and concrete.
For example,
-Straighten up what you are thinking.
-Elaborate the idea of the new design.
-Build up your business strategy.
-Plan your menu for dinner.
-Collect your impressions about a book.
-Plot out the idea of song composing.
-Make your plan for the exam.
-Think about directions of the band.

This app is extremely useful to me. I use it to brain storm, find solutions, create, complete thoughts, and jot down notes. I use it many times a day.
I had to have a look at the manual at the developer's site (mandal-art.com) before I could use the app because it's such a unique way to generate a train of thought, but the manual has a good index and got me off to a quick start.
