I love this app!!!
This is a wonderfully creative tool that makes it easy and quick to create beautiful, expressive artwork. You have a great deal of creative control over the finished product. It works similar to the "Mixer Brush" in Photoshop CS5. If your a photographer and want an enjoyable and powerful way to create paintings of your work then this is the app for you!!!!
Looking forward to an expanded feature set in future releases.
Disappointed
I was very disappointed in this app. For the price of this I expected more. It doesn't always let you undo. It also doesn't let you zoom in very far, to get fine details. If you change brush size to as small as it will go, you can't really see what changes are being made and exactly where you are putting your stokes.
I really like this app!
As an artist, I initially felt like this was cheating but the more I work with it, the more I realize that each painting is distinctly mine. Those are my strokes, my blending, and my gestures.
Yes, the color and general shapes are handed to me but the rest is truly mine. I've created some amazing pieces and often make several variations of the same photograph.
I would like to have the ability to center my image so it isn't partially hidden by the menu bar. I find that the menu pops up on top of my image as I work and it's quite annoying.
Thank you for a great app! I am enjoying it and use it daily. (Really.)
