Great App About the Greatest Place on Earth
Long Islanders LOVE our island, and now we can love it even more because we can learn so much more about it. Restaurants, recreation, historical sites, towns to visit, things to see... it's all here, and MORE. I especially like the slide shows, and the maps. This is truly a useful app for anyone wanting to know more about this stretch of sand we call home. Great idea, and just in time for summer!
An Informative Introduction to a Storied Place
This app truly offers something for everyone. From the cozy diners to the museums and to every where else, a bevy of useful information beckons the out of towner to visit Long Island, and to stay a good while once there!
The app introduces visitors to a well diversified set of attractions: historice sites, tempting restaurants, informative tours plus many others. Don't leave home without it.
Really useful, even for natives
I'm incredibly impressed! I absolutely love this app. I found out about places I never knew existed on Long Island & I'm a lifelong New Yorker. There is a really good selection of all types of venues, locations, and price ranges (of course "free" is my favorite). I like the mix and that it can easily be added to as more people post suggestions.
I also like that the map is placed alongside the photos, and gives the distance from my location. That is a fantastic help in deciding how far I might want to drive to visit one of these venues. This app is more than worth the price for anyone that lives, works, or wants to visit Long Island.
