Ever been at a concert and wished your friends could experience the atmosphere with you? Ever been on a mountain top and wished your family could experience the same view? Ever thought "they've got to see this!" but simply taking a picture was not enough? Share your experiences with unique images taken in a unique way with your iPhone 4, iPad 2 or latest iPod touch and "You Gotta See This!"
Simply start the recording in "You Gotta See This!", swipe the scene up, down, left and right with the camera and share the image created by one of the five amazing themes on Twitter, Facebook or by email. Or simply save it to your camera roll for later presentation. (See a short tutorial video at our website.)
The app creates collages of images that you take by slowly moving the camera around in 3D space. The resulting images are somewhat similar to what is called "panography" or "Hockneyesque" (after the artist David Hockney).
"You Gotta See This!" uses the gyroscope of your device to determine the camera orientation while you record and positions the images it takes accordingly on a flat surface to create the spacial collages.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
You Gotta See This! requires an iPhone 4, iPad 2 or an iPod touch (4th generation). It will not install on first generation iPad, iPhone 3GS, 3G, iPod touch (3rd generation) and earlier models.
TIP:
To get the highest possible resolution of the collages, save the collage to the camera roll and sync it to your computer. The "Photos" app shows only a small preview of the original 4 megapixel image which is actually saved.

Photo quality is fuzzy
I enjoyed this app a lot before the latest upgrade. The photos are blurry, unsaturated and generally of lower quality then before.
Decent but needs improvement
I've tried this on the iPod and new iPad, both have issues with the images simply not lining up beautifully like in the demo pictures. If you advertised it is imperfect, that would be alright, but it simply doesn't live up to expectations even after the latest update.
Buyer Beware!
I hadn't used this app in a while, then fired it up when at a beautiful vantage point on vacation. I captured a couple of collages, but didn't realize (until after I got back) that UNLESS YOU SEND OR SAVE EACH COLLAGE, IT GETS OVERWRITTEN BY THE NEXT ONE. No warning, they're just gone, as far as I can tell. So I only had the last one I did, which was certainly not the best one.
It would be nice if the app would double-check with you if you haven't clicked 'save to camera roll' or 'email' or one of the other sharing options, before just letting you throw away the panorama you just captured. (Or at least it could be a preference you could turn off, once you were a YGST! master and knew better.) Or, save a bunch of them in a history and make people delete them to get rid of them.
