Description
WARNING! Experiencing a vivid lucid dream is AWESOME!
✬ Lucid Reality Check reminds You throughout Your day
to do reality checks, increasing the chance of a reality
check within a dream. ✬
IMPORTANT: When not using the Autorepeat setting, You need to reopen the app after every alert! This is by design. The app will not reschedule the next RC if You do not reopen it.
When doing the RC, You should really, really, really ask Your self: "Am I Dreaming?" or "Is this a dream?". You choose Your own question in the settings (tap clock icon). This is for establishing a "habitual" way of checking reality. Soon You will repeat this "process" in an actual dream, noticing it.
Alerts them self do not depend on the app running and are implemented via Local Push Notifications. When not using the Autorepeat setting the app always reschedules exactly one alert in the future. You can choose to randomize and select the duration of the interval in between rescheduled alerts.
Simply be sure to always reschedule Your next reality check by pressing "repeat" on the alert. This brings up the app, the next alert is scheduled and You can close the app again, even shut it down. If You choose "stop" on the alert, there will be no more alerts until You reopen the app!!!
If an alert is brought up while the screen is locked simply "Slide to repeat". Again, this brings up the app and reschedules the next RC.
iOS 5 changed the way alert notifications are presented, You will need to tap on the notification appearing on the status bar area to reschedule the next RC. You can adjust this behavior in Settings->Notifications->Lucid Reality Check.
Enjoy nice power features like:
♻ Autorepeat Alerts
With Autorepeat You can schedule 64 alerts in the future.
Example: using the maximum Alert Interval of 10 hours
Lucid Reality Check schedules approximately two alerts
per day for a whole month. The Autorepeat setting removes
the need to reopen the app on every single alert
giving You almost hands-free reality checking.
☽ No Alarms During Sleep
Prevent the app to schedule alerts while You sleep.
Or exclude a part of the day from scheduling.
☼ A Lightbulb is now available. Use Lucid Reality Check in the middle of the night as a flashlight, when You are writing down Your dreams in Your dream log.
