Don't you wish that group email was built right into Mail, and your other favorite apps? MailShot is the first app on the Store to let you email groups of contacts directly from your apps, just like it was built into your device. Join the 80000+ people already using MailShot to send email to their groups.
MailShot creates special entries in your address book that you can use for sports or work teams and family, church or friends groups. Now you don't need a separate group email program for mailing- simply use the blue "+" in the address line of your mail to add the contact MailShot created for you, and tap "send" (or do it all from Siri!)
INSTRUCTIONS Use the blue "+" in the address line of your mail to select the special contact MailShot created for you, this will go to the group you created (TIP Don't type the name in on the address line)
This lite version of MailShot allows you to try it out for free with 3 groups of up to 5 people in each. A simple in-app upgrade unlocks the ability to create up to 100 different groups, each of which can contain 100 or more contacts (maximum depends on your email provider). This makes it equivalent to "MailShot Pro", which is also available as a separate app.
★ Use MailShot group contacts within almost any app, in place of a regular address book contact.
★ Send documents, photos, or any other attachment direct from your apps to a group.
★ Siri (iPhone4S) can send email to your groups by name.
★ Group contacts are shared automatically between your iOS devices using iCloud or other means of contact sharing.
★ Forward received email to your groups with all attachments intact (MailShot is the only app we know of that can do this.)
★ Use MailShot groups in the cc: or bcc: fields of your email, to protect others' privacy.
★ Choose which email address to use if a contact has several.
★ Import existing groups from your address book into MailShot.
★ Add contacts rapidly, by picking from a checklist.
★ Contacts can also be manually entered to avoid cluttering up your personal address book.

COMPATIBILITY:
Contacts can be synchronised to all contacts services, but are intended for use on iOS devices.
MailShot works great from Mail and the vast majority of apps that use the standard mail interface. QuickOffice, Evernote, Contacts and a few Calendar apps are the only exceptions we know of.
