Working Now
Previous review: I keep following the instructions, and just end up in a loop. Nothing happens.
Updated: came back a few hours later, & now it see,s to work fine. Large file takes a LONG time to download, but the issue is formatted well as an iPad app; not just the issue pages reproduced on the screen.
If you can't locate the icon, look in the "Newsstand" icon shelf.
What happened?
Just updated and now the CR icon is gone! Tried to reinstall, but says it's already installed. Apparently the app is still on my iPad because if I do a search, the app is listed and I can access it from the list. What happened to the icon? How do I remove the app with no icon? This stinks! Fix ASAP!
Horrific. Truly disappointed.
This is my fourth year of using the Apple App Store, and this is my second review.
I didn't bother to read the reviews of this iPad (iPad 2 V 5.0.1) app because I had never imagined that Consumer Reports/Consumer's Union would ever endorse/create such a lousy, worthless piece of crap, that is this app.
Shame on you, Consumer Reports, and Consumer's Union!
I once relied on CR for an unbiased and fair assessment of products, but I'm afraid, after this debauchery, I can no longer trust them. Please, do not buy a subscription to this. I wasted $25... A mistake I will never make again.
