Thanks for all your feedback. It looks like our issue is just with the NEW iPad 3. It has something to do with the new high resolution screen.
Our App is currently being offered for free because there is a bug that our developers cannot figure out. Please download the app and see if it freezes. If it does please email us and let us know the version of iOS you are running and which iPad you have. Once we fix the bug you will receive the update and will be able to continue using it for free. Thanks for your help.
iCabinet was designed by a home improvement contractor with home owners and contractors in mind. We wanted a simple, easy to use, mobile application for designing and laying out kitchens.
Anyone can create a new kitchen layout in minutes, save the drawing, email it to installers or print the layout and take it to your favorite cabinet supplier.
Using the iPadʼs touch technology you simply drag and drop cabinets and appliances from the menu bar onto the drawing surface to create your design.
To save time iCabinetApp does not require you to layout the walls first. All widths are automatically calculated as cabinets, appliances, and fillers are added to the drawing surface.

Version 1.2 added the following:

-Added the Ability to Change Cabinet Colors (10 in total)

Version 1.4 added the following:
-Support for 30",36" and 42" wall cabinets. Use the button "Cabinet Styles" to jump to the desired size.
Version 1.5.2 is finished and is in review with Apple. In this version we have finished adding all "industry standard", non-custom cabinet sizes.
In total there are 1,500+ drawing objects. (150+ cabinet sizes and appliances in 10 different colors)

3D IS Coming!
Version 1.6 is being worked on now. This update will allow for 3D rendering of your design. We hope to have this completed by the end of April or early May.
As we release new updates we will need to increase the sales price to help recover development costs. Buy now and all future updates are free.

This is the worst money I have ever spent. When I use the program just stops working.....
Poor app, total waste of $
I have never rated an app before. However, I was so totally disappointed in this app that I felt I should warn others. I am completely disgusted to have contributed any money to this developer. The app constantly crashes and is poorly designed. The app support link takes you to a page not found. Please don't waste your money on this app.
Not very good
Well, I had high hopes. I read the review that said it was a waste of money, but I needed a tool, so I gave it a try. Well, it looks good and works ok and the cabinet selection is good.
You don't have the ability to see in 3D. You can't nudge the cabinets into position. You can't get a measure tool to see center lines of windows to line up cabinet. You can't zoom in or out. You can't set an overhang and get a square footage for countertops. You can't get position a cabinet X inches from a wall.
This is a very limited tool with great potential. It may be worth 0.99, but try other tool until this gets updated 5 more revisions.
