Get it! Steep learning curve for the beginner but very powerful app
I'm a beginner and one look at all the options in this app was a bit daunting but I'm sticking with it and beginning to see the light. VERY powerful app and worth the effort to learn all its controls.
I appreciate the developer's efforts at keeping the app updated with new features and better performance.
Get this while it's on sale to feel like you won the lottery!
Seriously it's sick! I am a totally newbie and actually created a serious bass beat I could dance to. It runs in the background with animoog thank heavens! With a bit of fiddling around I think a newbie to this industry can learn tons. And honestly this is just after learning a little. Paired with some other apps this makes learning to Compose on the iPad wild! Sorry for the lack of technical info but I consider it a steal! And would have paid more knowing what it does!

Update 3-(2/2012)
You can buy this for $1! What's the hold up? By far one of the coolest apps to come out. It has had 3 major updates where we saw it go from a basic four slot vintage drum machine emulator into a full EDM studio. Do you want a Korg monotron on your idevice? It's got that. 808,909? Check and check. Easy pattern mode/song mode lets you build up your song in sections and add the parts you want to the mix.
We have now been given the Gemini synth(as of today Pheonix),very cool. The mixer insert and send effects have been expanded on as well. Today (2/2012)saw the inclusion of WIST and background audio with Blutooth sharing for iPad to iPhone exchange of tracks. This is very cool because now I can use the space the iPad has to build the songs and then shoot them over to the smaller screen to act as the slave to play. Then use the iPads larger interface again to do live tweaks to this app and others. You can use RS as the backbone to your sound and background it with WIST on two devices. This makes for an unbelievable amount of music production on just two l devices. Nothing else comes close to what this platform can accomplish thanks to apps like this.
The only thing that I would request in a future update would be to allow more then 4 machines on the table at any one time. This thing is begging for at least 6! Maybe even 8! Hope it won't take a whole code rework to change that. Maybe when iPad 3 drops we will see some more slots open up. Thanks. This app is fun fun fun. Buy it now guys.
