Well....
Ok. First things first. I am an avid COD Fan and am very critical of games involving( or being ) COD. That being said, I loved COD WAW zombies, and I never thought it would be possible to make black ops maps on IOS. I, obviously, was wrong. BUT.... while I am addicted to black ops, I saw all the bad reviews and it made me start to reconsider buying this app immediately. I did despite the reviews, and was pleasantly surprised with the product everyone was putting down.
This is a list of people's complaints, and my personal experience of them.
1. Crashes immediately after company name: I don't know if these people tried this, but I deleted all apps from history( done by tapping home button twice, you then delete all apps there as you would if you wanted to actually delete them) and rebooted after downloading. The app only crashes when I am in the middle of the game and I pause it and put it on sleep. Usually works fine.
2. Lags: when things get VERY hectic, yes, it lags a little bit. Then again, what company can say their game doesn't do the same?
3. Horrible controls: I, personally, missed the old controls A LOT until I changed the setting to the "touch" control set. It takes a little getting used to, but I took to them like a duck to water( excuse cheesy metaphor )
4. Online server doesn't work: it worked fine for me. Maybe that thing people don't know is A GAMECENTER ACCOUNT IS REQUIRED FOR ONLINE MULTIPLAYER!!!!!! Perhaps that is why most people can't play online. Only problem is it usually crashes when I try to play with a friend.
5. No wunderweapons: true, and a couple other guns are missing, but if anything is coming in the next update, it will probably be the zombie signature ray gun and thundergun.
Now, my review.
This top notch zombie shooting action game is as fun as it gets. Kino Der Toten is my second favorite map (only worse than moon, of course), and moon is probably coming in the future. It even says in map selection ascension, coming soon and other maps coming. Very crisp, and an upgrade from the WAW zombie app.
UPDATE: This is the update I've been waiting for. It fixed all the problems, and added most of the key guns! And it added a save game option! YES!!!
