Great game from G5

This game did not disappoint. The graphics & sound were great & the story was original & cohesive. The gameplay was great: I played on expert (which I normally do), but even this game had me pressing the hint button several times when trying to remember or figure out what my next task was. (I prefer games that are challenging rather than easy, and even for someone who plays a lot of these hidden object adventure games, it was not easy.) There were a nice mix of puzzles that kept it interesting. The game kept me occupied for several hours. Hope to see more great games like this in the future.

Good game, advertising is horrible

I bought the full edition because they were having a sale, and I don’t regret it. The puzzles aren’t hard, but some give you a little to think about, and the story is clear and easy to follow. I replayed the game a year or two later and I still feel it’s a good deal for the price. It doesn’t repeat itself too much like other games, and it’s actually quite long and comes with a fairly long bonus game. There’s a map that notes active locations, but you don’t need it. If you’re paying attention, you can always figure out the next move. No technical issues at all.

However, I give it 3 stars for the absolutely obtrusive, disrespectful advertising g5e has put on this game. It wasn’t there when I originally downloaded the game, so this is an update they have made which is solely for their advertising purposes. Every single time you open the game, you have to close not one, but FOUR advertisements. These ads have completely blocked the play page, so you cannot begin the game without closing each one of them one-by-one. To force customers who have paid for your game is so disrespectful, I cannot give what would absolutely be a 5-star game more than 3 stars.

Entertaining

I guess the thing that I enjoyed the most on this story is that the artwork is lush and the puzzles are interesting. There is nothing too difficult in the game. I did not use a single hint…but that said, there were plenty of times when I wanted to. I played the first game as well as this one and actually prefered the story in this one over the initial story. I look forward to the sequel. These things are relaxing at the end of a hard days work on the farm. Just enough to relax and if I use the harder settings, they can take a few days to complete. Inexpensive entertainment and well worth the money.
