Description
This application contains an extended list of mushrooms, with full description and images. The database is stored locally, meaning no network access is required for using it.
This is a universal app, you can install it both to your iPad and your iPhone.
All mushrooms have full details text and full resolution image, with taxonomy and morphology information:
* Hymenium type
* Cap shape
* Attachment
* Stipe type
* Color
* Ecology type
You can access mushrooms by many ways:
* By favorites.
* By mushroom name.
* By mushroom genus.
* By edibility.
* By rating.
* By specific genus.
* By attached notes.
* By locations.
Interactive features
* Notes. Write any note and attach it to a mushroom. You can later find it easily in the notes category.
* Locations. You found a mushroom and want to remember where? Pin the location in the map. You can have as many locations you want for every single mushroom in the database. In additional, you can view all the pinned locations of all mushrooms at once.
* Mushroom browser. The browser can be customized via filters, showing thumbnails of all mushrooms for easy navigation.
* Favorites and rating. You can interact with the application by marking some mushrooms favorites (for quick access later) and/or rate them.

* Recipes.
* More filters, like country, season

Need more mushrooms in database
This app has everything I need ... Information wise and documenting wise ... I think it is quite clever to be able to add the location to a map for later viewing / remembering .... However ... I need the mushrooms that I hunt in this list... I avoid all aminitas , and only like one bolete if I'm feeling risky! Need to add , morels, grifola frondosa"sheepshead", sulfur shelf "chicken mushrooms" , horse and meadow mushrooms , puffballs , and some other more commonly eaten ones .... Oysters -etc. Thanks for the beginning efforts , look forward to an awesome update soon !
Very Angry! Only got Boletes & Amanitas !
My son downloaded & got MANY more species ! What's up? I'll change my rating when my database includes everything HE HAS! For the same price, the Audubon version has over 500 fungi. Bummer is I can't get the "buy" button to work on it! So I bought this... GRRRR!
