Great app! Was going to upgrade to Pro but they crippled it! Will stick with Free or move to other

I've been using this app for a while and have been very happy with it. But the limit to only 10 articles and the lack of folders had me frustrated. So I finally decided to upgrade to the pro version for that and possibly the background updating. However, I noticed they no longer support graphical articles, only text. Not worth upgrading (and going significantly backwords). I'll stick with the Free version for now, but will begin actively searching for an alternative product.

Really useful app, especially for iPod touch

The iPod touch is great for reading news and your favorite sites while you have a WiFi connection, but sometimes you want to take articles with you to read on the bus, train or in the airport, for example. With Instapaper, syncing long web pages for offline reading is convenient, fast, and straightforward. Reading articles is pleasant enough but I feel the App could use just a little more polish: (1) for some reason while reading, double-tap to zoom still zooms in and out just the slightest bit, which is odd since the content appears to be formatted to fit the screen exactly (minor quibble but it feels sloppy); (2) position in article is not preserved on exit although I believe this may be a Pro version feature--still, it's annoying to manually scroll through a long article to get back to my place just because I needed to change my music; (3) tables in HTML are garbled (Pro feature? or I'm using it wrong?); (4) I like large text but the default text size is a little large and cannot be changed; (5) sometimes I would like to keep in-line images without having to keep the entire original HTML formatting: Instapaper's method of stripping out the content and formatting it in a clean way is pretty nice but removing relavant article images isn't ideal. All in all, this is a great app that delivers what it promises and it beats killing trees to print out the occasional long blog article. The App could be improved, if only in minor ways, and I hope this developer keeps making and improving apps like this that solve a specific problem well and make the iPod touch / iPhone platform better for users.

Awesome App for busy readers

This is an incredibly useful app for anyone who likes to maintain a "To Read" list. Not only does it allow one to read web pages in the subway, but also the pro version remembers your curent position in the article (really useful for New Yorker articles). The free version is pretty good and really useful, but the pro version is worth the $5 for the extra conveniences it provides.
