iPad 3 COMPATIBILITY NOTE:
While Invisibility 1.0.1 runs on the iPad 3rd generation, features like "Rub Away Your Screen" do not perform well enough to use. Invisibility 2 - a free upgrade due in spring - will resolve this issue, run on more iOS devices, and much more!
EYE POPPING ILLUSIONS
Bring your iPad 2 over to any table or floor, launch Invisibility, and take a picture with it from 2 feet up. Set it down in the spot you just photographed, pinch, pan and rotate the image until it fits with the background, and tap Rub Away Your Screen.
Gently rub the Home screen. You find you’re wiping it away and revealing the table underneath. Turn the iPad clockwise and – like no app in history – the table top image stays where it was, as if we’re looking through the iPad at the table.
Now lift one corner of the iPad and swing it around. Again, the table top image stays fixed in space – while moving the iPad just uncovers more of the table!
Tip the corner higher and it looks even more real. You can even see the thin inside edge of the iPad, and a moving shadow – as if there’s a big rectangular hole where the screen used to be.
HOW IT WORKS
Invisibility takes unique advantage of the high tech sensors in the iPad 2 – in particular, the 3D gyroscope and accelerometers. Patent pending Pantomime™ technology tracks how your iPad is moving, and updates the display accordingly to keep the virtual world in one place even as the iPad moves.
INSTANT VIRTUAL WORLDS
Invisibility turned the table photo you took into a seamless, endless environment. It will do that with ANY photo, using reflections. For many textures that's a perfect way to make an endless world from one photo, magically hiding the seams.
And since any picture you take or image you crop in Invisibility is added to your iPad’s Camera Roll, you can visit that world again or share the amazing imagescapes with friends.
NOTES FOR NEW USERS
Secrets of Invisibility now revealed in Tutorial Videos at invisibilityapp.com/blog/faq/. You can make the instructions and controls reappear by pressing on the main screen. To achieve the amazing Invisibility effect, lift one corner of the iPad and rotate it around the opposite corner as shown; or, on a truly flat surface, rotate it flat around its center. Beginners should lift the corner at least 2 inches, pinching it to be sure the other corners don't graze the table, before rotating the iPad around the fixed opposite corner.
MYTHS: Despite appearances, Invisibility does NOT use live video from the rear-facing camera. That camera won't focus that close. You take a still photo of the table just beforehand - ideally out of sight of the folks you're trying to fool.

Photo Landscape lets you explore a bigger virtual world with momentum and friction – the infinite world includes 10 photos from of your synced Albums. Photos in the Photo Landscape can be tossed, spun, caught, or made into endless landscapes by pressing them.

I love this app. A party maker.
I just attended an outdoor party and had my iPad 2 with me.
A big corporate party with a band in a big grassy park.
I launched Invisibility and took a photo of the grass and started moving the iPad around.
It's perfect with that kind of texture.
Within seconds there was a crowd around me. Everyone seeing the ground right through the iPad as I moved it.
Food servers stopping to ask about it.
I did this multiple times across this party, and everyone's eyes popped out and asked what it was, a conversation starter.
It works at home too, of course, on tables, bedspreads, rugs, floors, etc.
It takes a minute to master it.
And the Photo Landscape worlds are mind blowing too.

I had this app running when my friends came over to visit. They all did a double-take when they saw it! Definitely worth a look.
Did what it said it would do.
The app works pretty well. It takes a picture of the surface and when you move the iPad, it pans the picture. Read carefully what it does! And don't be fooled. But you might fool your friends.
Overall, it is a pretty good party trick that might leave your friends stumped. It was worth the 0.99 cents just to see the looks on other people's faces.
