Expensive checkbook ledger
While I can understand charging for the app itself, I find it astonishing that you have to pay for a sync or backup service on a monthly basis. The backups and data is not that large, I shouldn't have to pay for storing a couple megs of data. Please integrate something like Dropbox or even use iCloud... I can't suggest this app otherwise.... Save your money, use clearcheckbook even though that app may not be as polished, at least it's free to store your data somewhere else besides the device.
Crashing on open!
This is a great app when it's working, but a word of warning if you have an iPhone 4, and you've upgraded to iOS 5: if you turn off your phone, then turn it on again, be prepared for iReconcile to crash when you launch the app. For me, it will not even get to the start screen, and will crash without ever opening. Very frustrating, and hopefully this will be addressed soon.
With sync, awful
I've used this since it first came out and have thought it was fantastic until I subscribed to the sync service about 6 months ago to use on iPhone 4 and iPad 2. With sync enabled, it crashes nearly every time I make an entry - sometimes saves my info, sometimes not. Scheduled transactions often post 1+ days late. I've hoped for improvement with each update but it actually seems to be getting worse. After the recent time change from Daylight Savings Time, many memorized scheduled transactions were duplicated and/or the scheduled date changed. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times to no avail. And now although each of my devices says that it is fully currently synched, they do not show the same transactions and balances.
With sync turned off, it still seems to work ok - but I paid for sync and it's a mess. Contacting the developers through their support site has gotten me no response after more than a week.
