iTalk Recorder Premium is a full-featured recording app with a streamlined and intuitive user interface. Press the big red button to record; press it again to stop. You can append to existing recordings, choose from three levels of recording quality (11.025, 22.05, or 44.10 kHz sample rates), and manage your recordings, all with just a fingertip.
You can email recordings straight from iTalk. iTalk also supports Dropbox file transfers and direct file sharing through iTunes.

Avoid!
There is no reliable way to get you recordings to your computer - the app typically crashes when trying to do it. I now have a long interview on my iPod that I cannot move to my computer! (It works for some files, but not for others.)
file sharing doesn't work
Any file over 5 MB can't be emailed. Was unable to use file sharing from IPad2 to MacBook Pro.
Great app!
I've been using this for about 1yr and they are constantly improving it every few months. I use it to transfer all recordings to Dropbox. Love the option to pick quality. The only thing missing is the option to edit/ cut some audio out. With that said I think it's great.
