★OPERATION of ITGO is based around three main screens; the Timer, Settings and Audio screens.
Users start by selecting their session workout time, the fast interval duration and the slow/fast interval ratio. Users can also choose to switch the vibration alerts on or off on this page.
Next, users can switch to the Sounds page to select music from their onboard iPod library for the separate Slow and Fast playlists. The Sounds page also includes options to choose audio prompts, select the playlist play mode and volume settings for the prompts and music.
Finally users switch to the Timer screen and after selecting a warm up and cool down length from zero to 3 minutes, start their workout. ITGO's timers then count down the intervals in circular segments and displays individual numerical timers for the fast and slow intervals and total session duration as well as the currently playing song and provides double vibration alerts at each interval change.
The music playlists can be set to shuffle, repeat or just play in order.

The TIMER screen displays your progress for total session time and current fast/slow interval time.
Tap the time to start/pause.
Double tap to reset.

What's New in Version 1.4
ITGO V1.4 adds greater flexibility and customization with V1.4 adding several new features requested by customers.
All upgrades to V 1.4 will get the free additional benefits and fixes as listed below but only the paid upgrades, delivered as an in-app purchase, will get the new additional premium features available in ITGO V1.4

1. SLEEP MODE
ITGO now stays awake and disables sleep mode correctly.
2. COSMETIC LED UPDATES
LEDs have been upgraded with slicker sharper LED graphics and sliders have also been updated to a cleaner version.
3. MORE STABLE OPERATION - ITGO’s operation is more robust
4. FIXED TIMER ERROR - A timer error which allowed setting of the session length to less than the current time has been fixed.
Premium Upgrade Benefits
RATIO - The new default max Ratio is 1:6 however ITGO now has an adjustable Ratio from 1:1-20. This higher ratio is accessed by double tapping the ratio button and selecting “Value” to numerically enter the ratio value from 3 to 20. ITGO then gives you a choice of either 1:1, half the maximum value and the maximum value. For example a maximum ratio value of 10 would show as 1:1, 1:5, 1:10. Again, double tapping the ratio and selecting Flip will allow you to flip the slow and fast interval ratios.
2. INTERVAL LENGTH
ITGO now features more flexible intervals from 4 seconds to 90 seconds.
3. COUNT IN BEEPS
ITGO now counts in four multi-beeps before interval changes in all modes. This will alert you to the fact the interval is about to change and may come in handy if you are listening to podcasts for example where the audio may not be set to change between intervals. Engage the Beep feature by selecting Beeps in the Sounds page.
4. END OF WORKOUT SESSION PROMPT
ITGO no longer stops to silence, it now has an end of workout session audio prompt
ITGO will run on all OS 3 and higher devices. When running ITGO in the background on iOS 4 devices, ITGO will pause your workout and resume right where you left off when you return to it!

such SHORT interval lengths
For quite awhile now I have wanted a playlist or app that would cycle my workout music between fast/slow as my intervals were changing from hard to easy. I was so excited when I learned of this app! It does exactly what I want! Next came my disappointment...the interval length selector has a limit of 90 seconds. Wow! I do ultra-distance cycling and have intervals that are up to 30 minutes in length. My shortest interval is 2 minutes, which is still beyond the ability of this app. Developer:please understand that some athletes have some very very long intervals during an even longer workout (some of my rides are up to 6 hours, with six 30 minute intervals with 10 minute rest between intervals). Make this app adjustable to allow intervals up to 30 minutes and sessions up to 4 fours. Then, this app would be world class!
Almost perfect
Awesome app but oddly it assumes (or seems to assume) that interval workouts always have a ratio that gives more time to resting than working out. I solved it by putting my fast music on the slow setting, but it is odd to the ear to hear "fast" when you go into mode. Speaking of rest, it should also give that as option instead of just slow. Some programs require rest between heavy sets. Nice app otherwise!
A dud... Not ready for prime time...
For the price of this fitness app, you'd expect a quality, polished product. This app is a nice attempt but falls short in the execution. After several tries over the last few weeks, I could not get the ITGO app to complete a single workout without a problem. On a couple of tries, the app just quit prematurely. You need to have music ON in order to reliably hear the voice prompts. Also, a huge oversight exists where there is no audible cue to indicate completion of the workout. I guess the developers envisioned that you would be watching your display throughout the workout? Oh, but wait, there's more... apparently you can purchase a "premium upgrade" which fixes this bug. For what it's worth, customer service was indeed prompt but not very helpful.
ITGO in its current state should be marketed as a "lite" version app and sold as free.
