The times in the app are wrong.
For example, the next three trains on 12/18/09 for for my train line are shown as 10:35 AM, 11:35 AM, 12:35 PM
The correct times are 10:49 AM 11:49 AM, 12:49 PM.
How can you publish a train schedule app where the times are wrong? The app does have to do only 1 thing: provide correct train times.
Purchased on Dec 10, 2009. Wrote the publisher on Dec 10, 2009. Publisher responded on Dec 10, 2009 that they are working on it.
Doesn't Do What I Need
I need an app that will allow me to put in a starting point and destination and have it tell me where the nearest station is, the train, the line, any transfers, schedules and fare. This app does none of those things. You must supply the Transit Authority and Train Line before the Starting Location and Destination become enterable fields. So basically, you provide all the minutia and it provides times only. Not at all useful for a tourist only would have value for a daily commuter that uses the same trains. The New Jersey Transit web site comes closer to doing this - for free. It also does not allow you to easily cross state lines. For example, I can't start in New Jersey and go to Philadelphia or Boston unless I provide the stations for the transfers. Probably does a good job for a very specific group, but as a tool for a tourist, it's completely useless. DOES ANYONE KNOW OF AN APP THAT WILL SERVE MY NEEDS?
