Very cool - love it!
Fantastic paint app. It's like having an art pad and paint in my pocket at all times (without the mess). Love the splattering, drippy paint. The sample shots at the App Store don't do this app justice. Takes a little time to discover your "technique', but when you do, this is a brilliant paint pad. A couple things I'd love to see in an update. 1) Choice of canvas color. White is not always the best choice. 2) Textured or "thicker" paint (like Corel Painter). 3) Additional color pallets or ability to mix my own colors. 4) Fix the load function. Often it takes two times to get an image to load. Well worth the money if you are an artist and like to have a mini art pad and paint with you at all times.
Horrible interface
The painting and colors are good but the interface is terrible. For example, to change a color or access the menu you have to double-tap on the canvas. It's very easy to double-tap when painting, so it's constantly switching to the menu. Double-tapping also puts more paint on the canvas each time, whether you want to or not. Bump the phone and it erases your painting. No undo. It's a good concept that needs much better execution and an easily accessible pallet and options.
Fabulous Developer!
An app is only as good as its developer and the developer of this very fun app is incredibly responsive. I had one issue and heard back from the developer almost immediately. It was clear from the get-go that he was very interested in resolving the issue that I was having. I need to figure out if he has any other apps available because this is the type of person I want to deal with. Great job Miltos!
