Great free CC music
First of all, don't pay any attention to the bad reviews. This app is great for finding and listening to all the awesome creative commons music on Jamendo. There are some extremely talented artists here, granted they don't have major record deals but that doesn't mean they lack in quality. There is something here for everybody. Rock, electronica, jazz, acoustic, swing, classical, you name it!
No Pop Crap
I really like the selection of music available here. Huge resource of talented but unknown musicians. If you're looking for head banging or middle class teen age angst, this is not for you. Free access for downloading is icing on the cake!
Jamendo has an iPhone app?
Don't know how I overlooked this before. Jamendo has music from a lot of independent, unsigned artists so you probably won't find music you already know. If you're okay with finding something new, though, this is the app for you.
