What a great... Experience!
This is a great free app! I am a huge Hendrix fan, and while most of the info in here I already knew, there were a few photos I had not yet seen, and the video portions are superb.
Can you really get any better than Eddie Kramer at the board of Olympic talking about how he recorded the tracks and then playing portions etc. there is some great media in here.
It is free because they allow you to buy all the music that you hear throughout the app. Too bad I already own it all!
Looking forward to the updates that you can read about at the end of the app, guitar section will be cool to read.
Lastly, I am using an iPad2 and I have sound with the app, I don't know what these n00bs are on about saying there is no audio. Could it really be they have their iPads muted or volume off as the app description is suggesting? Sheesh!

An amazing reference
I have this on my personal iPad, and on the one I use in my classroom. One of my 8th graders used it for biographical research. The other kids mostly chose pop singers or rappers, but when she saw this app, she really got into her work. Thanks for making an app I enjoy as someone who remembers Jimi, and that I can share with another generation. It is well done, thorough, and interesting.
