Ads? You've Got to be Kidding!
The game is great for children, but what's up with the ads? This is one of the most idiotic things to add to a children's game! This app is now deleted from my iPhone.
Wish I Could Sue.
I've always enjoyed being able to let my 3 year old play this child-friendly memory-like matching game. She enjoys the cartoon-like animal characters and the playful music; plus it improves her memory.
This morning, though, she hands me the iPhone with a confused/concerned look on her face. When I looked at the phone, there was an ad playing for a game called "Guts & Gore".
Not only have I deleted your app and written this review; I plan to take to the forums and let everyone know what sort of a messed-up, inappropriate bait-and-switch apps Jirbo now puts out.
And just because the app is now "free" doesn't mean that it always has been. I payed for this app with a certain design and layout advertised, only to now be met with un-optional ads. I will be looking into the legality behind what you've done here.
Horrible Ads
I just deleted this game. I'm horrified by the ads and can no longer let my children play this. I played through once and there was an add for a video game with someone getting stabbed and blood going all over. Looked very realistic as some video games do. A young child wouldn't know that it was a video game. Plus having my phone on silent the actual match game was silent but even though the phone ringer is on vibrate only and causes the game sound to be off the ads came on VERY loud because my speaker volume was up. Unbelievable! This used to be one of our favorite games. And I purchased it when it had a cost associated with it long ago which means I should be entitled to a version with ZERO ads! I don't write a lot of reviews on apps mostly for lack of time but this one just infuriates me. I give it a NEGATIVE 20 stars!!!
