With JourSail you can document your sailing trip or your motorboat holiday simply, quickly and innovatively. Whether you are sailing with a small yacht or enjoying nature aboard a Hurtigruten cruise ship: with JourSail your log entries are available to you, in perfect form, at any time.
You can make an entry in the log daily, hourly or every four hours - with JourSail you define your own rhythm and it can be changed every day - exactly as you wish.
Using JourSail, you can send your sea log as an email, direct from your iPhone or iPod Touch, in a very attractively configured form, to your friends, family or any other e-mail address.
All inputs are made using optimised input masks. It could not be quicker or easier. JourSail uses the internal sensors of the iPhone or iPod Touch to automatically determine, for example, your current position or the time and date for a record entry. You can then use a pointer to look at all of the positions recorded for your ship on the interactive iPhone map.

Nice!
Program has alot of promise. Would be great if speed,heading and distance would be input in the log off the gps chip.Also if it could calculate distance to destination.
Screens seem to lock after data is saved and you can't change.
Pretty cool!
Some learning curve. Nice interface, good to be able to send a e mail log page to family. Did I overlook the English documentation?
Disappointed by lack of updates
What initially looked like a promising app has disappointed me for not getting updated since it was issued. The price for this flawed app should be cut in half until it is fully functional!
