Support Notes:
i) 2 Player Network Play requires access to wifi or 2 devices with compatible bluetooth (1st generation iPhone and 1st gen. iPod Touch do not support peer to peer play over bluetooth, just wifi).
ii) Karate Champ XL provides a lag free experience but to ensure best results use either Wifi OR Bluetooth but don't leave both on as it can cause network confusion in devices.
iii) Karate Champ XL has been designed for the iPad but will allow for network play with devices running the iPhone version also. min iPhone ver 1.1 required.

Oh the time I used to spend playing this. Two player mode is just great. Just awesome retro goodness.
Love this classic!
Nice import to the iPad 4.2, a must have and fun every time. The outcome is always different. Got to use different combinations and techniques and careful timing to defeat your opponent. Try to get a full punch hit. If you keep getting your butt beaten, the judge will stop the match. This game is awesome and I am glad to have a classic game such as this. I am so happy with karate champ, it's the best. You can try many different techniques to win over your contender. Try it for those who know karate champ.
Retro look but probably the best fighting game in the Store!
Wonderful and very realistic fighting mechanism. Hope the developer keeps updating it. Would love to see an optional, less pixelated look as an alternative.
Anyway, if you like fighting games this is a must. Split-screen multiplayer is a blast!
