Description

With Keynote Remote, you can control your Keynote ’09 slide presentation on your Mac from your iPod touch or iPhone.

Swipe to advance or return to the previous slide. In portrait mode, see your presenter notes on your iPod touch or iPhone. In landscape mode, preview your next slide.

Keynote Remote works with your Wi-Fi network, so you can control slide playback from anywhere in the room.

– Control your Keynote ’09 presentation
– Swipe to advance or return to the previous slide
– See presenter notes on your iPhone or iPod touch
– Preview your next slide in landscape mode
– Pair your iPhone or iPod touch to any Mac with Keynote ’09

NOTE: Keynote Remote requires Keynote ’09, part of the iWork for Mac suite. You will need a working Wi-Fi connection between your iPhone/iPod touch and your Mac (If you’re not connected to a Wi-Fi base station, you can create a “computer-to-computer” network with an Airport enabled Mac).

What's New In Version 1.1

Version 1.1 addresses the reliability of the connection with Keynote ’09.

Customer Reviews

Works great and is quite impressive.

Downloaded the night before making a Keynote presentation in an interview. They were really impressed and it was so easy to do. Was able to connect to a Computer to Computer network I created, so while you need to do this over Wi-Fi, you don't need a hotspot.

Doesn't work with large presentations

I have lectures of 50-350 slides (mostly pictures). This will work for about 5-10 slides, then it stops and I have to use the arrow keys. I've sent bug requests, but they seem to have fallen on blind eyes. Don't get this until the above issue is resolved.

Needs a pointer function

Wireless control of progress through slideshow is fine and easy. However, the app would be much more valuable if it 1) incorporated a pointer and 2) allowed a light table view (about the size of regular app icons) on the iphone for rapidly selecting one particular slide from the whole show.
