Almost
I'm a recent convert from powerpoint to keynote and I love it. Unfortunately, the app isn't quite as awesome as the mac version. As a student, I take a lot of notes on the presentations given in the "presenter's notes" as an adjunct to what is actually on the slides. In the app, there is no way to view both the slides and presenter's notes unless you are actually hooked up to another screen. In the Mac version, both in the slide layout view, and in rehearse presentation, you can make presenter's notes available. The app version desperately needs this to be available, at least in my case, as well as I'm sure, in the eyes of many other students who take notes that way.
Also, as others have mentioned in the reviews, how are Apple fonts not transferrable from the mac to the app version? That just seems ridiculous.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this app because it is very functional, especially with iCloud integration, but it is still missing key ingredients in my opinion.
Need more support but other than that I LOVE it
I've been working now the last 3 weeks on this app.
Really nice and works well, however it being an app by Apple I was expecting more consistency between the app on keynote on my desktop - simple consistency really.
Like fonts and animations.
You spend hours on your desktop designing your presentation and once you send to app on iPhone it does not support the fonts you used (for Apples own templates) Something as simple as the Charkboard font is now called Charkboard SE and you just don't get that fond for the mac, so now I have to go and manually change 207 pages font on that app from Chalkduster (because it could not find my font I used it automatically changed it to this) to Chalkboard SE "NOT FUN" -
My original font on Keynote on my desktop was Chalkboard but because the app does not have that font support it changed it to Chalkduster automaticaly.
Other thing is not all the Animation Modes work that I used on Keynote desktop - it's not supported on the app.
I feel it's a app by apple I paid for the one on my desktop and paid for the iPhone app please have the same fonts and animation modes on both the applications
Other than that the app and the remote for keynote works really well together.
I just only bought this app to use to show my Keynote presentation on a projector connected to the iPhone - I was not planing on designing on the app but instead use the desktop for that. Now it does not support all the features that the desktop app support.
Still nothing even on the 1.6 update.

Fantastic
Nice update! Flow for creating presentations has gotten better and is more controllable. I used to feel like I was always having to use Undo because of tapping the wrong thing, moving something by mistake, etc.
Now, objects are clearly highlighted when selected, easier to manipulate, and I have more of the effects that I'm used to in Keynote for Mac (which is an incredible application, by the way).
The only downside is that it's not 100% compatible with Keynote for Mac files. It works, don't get me wrong, but there are still actions that aren't supported in this iOS App and it has a tendency to strip the non-supported features from the presentation when changes are saved on the iPhone (so make a backup if you'll be modifying an important presentation on your phone if you've previously made changes on Keynote for Mac).
I would recommend starting with Keynote for iOS and then finish up polishing the presentation in the Mac version as opposed to working actively on the same presentation with both platforms at the same time :)
