NOTE: Some people have reported a crash when updating the app from a previous version. If you're experiencing a crash when launching the update, please remove the app and reinstall. That will fix the problem. We're working on a solution for this.
Layar is a mobile app for discovering information about the world around you. Using Augmented Reality (AR) technology, Layar displays digital information called “layers” into your smartphone’s field of vision.
With the introduction of Layar Vision, these layers can now recognize real-world objects and display digital AR experiences on top of them. Interact with the world around you by scanning images, magazines and advertising posters with Layar Vision.
