A Japanese guide to learning Japanese grammar

This guide is an attempt to systematically build up the grammatical structures that make up the Japanese language in a way that makes sense in Japanese. It may not be a practical tool for quickly learning immediately useful Japanese phrases (for example, common phrases for travel). However, it will logically create grammatical building blocks that will result in a solid grammatical foundation. For those of you who have learned Japanese from textbooks, you may see some big differences in how the material is ordered and presented. This is because this guide does not seek to forcibly create artificial ties between English and Japanese by presenting the material in a way that makes sense in English. Instead, examples with translations will show how ideas are expressed in Japanese resulting in simpler explanations that are easier to understand.

Please note that this application does not contain Romaji. You will be required to learn the Kana (Hiragana and Katakana) to be able to fully complete this guide. Don't worry though, it's covered in the "Writing System" section.

Really useful
Great explanation for detailed grammar, with examples. Fun style too!
Wow!
I can't believe this is free. I am hooked on it. The basics of the language are broken up into manageable chunks and the explanations are simple yet understandable.
Small caveat: Even though most of the kanji phrases are hyperlinked and expand into kana when you touch them, the grammar lessons in this app are LOT more useful if you already have a basic working knowledge of written Japanese, since it aims to expose you to as much Japanese as possible from the start. If you haven't gotten the phonetic sets out of the way yet, you're going to be slowed down a bit. Fortunately the app also helps with that - there's even audio for each of the kana sounds!
All in all, a fantastic app, and free no less.

This is a really good app if your studying Japanese! Although don't make it your only source for learning Japanese because this doesn't help you all the way, so get some more Japanese apps! This is just one of the secondary sources! Because it is lengthy and you'll probably want something that is simpler to understand! Anyways this is an awesome app! DOWNLOAD IT!
