Lectionary (for iPhone and iPod Touch) is a simple application for following the Christian liturgical year. It presents biblical readings, feast names, and colors based on various interpretations of the liturgical calendar.
In a nutshell, Lectionary is a map of the Sunday and feast (Holy Week, etc) readings you would find during most of the worship services you might attend.
Lectionary includes readings from the Revised Common Lectionary for years A, B, and C. The RCL is very common with most mainstream churches, including Episcopal, Lutheran, Methodist, and Presbyterian, among others. If you are part of these denominations, chances are Lectionary will match readings from your church services on most days, or contain only a slight variation from what your church is using.
For those not using the RCL, Lectionary includes readings from the Book of Common Prayer in it's 1979 form. It also includes variations of the RCL specific to various churches, such as the Episcopal Church of the United States.
The Book of Common Prayer Daily Office is available as part of Lectionary as an In-App purchase.

Very nice app
I really appreciate having this handy app with me wherever I go. Navigation is simple and text is easy to read. A search feature would be nice, but it's not really necessary. I'm very pleased.
So pleased
I love the NRSV so this is perfect for me. Add the daily office that I can read ANYWHERE without feeling self-conscious, and the app is absolutely perfect for my needs. I can't overstate its utility for Episcopalians who want to do daily reading of God's Word or follow along with the lay readers/deacons on Sunday. Thank you for this fabulous experience.
Good but not as good
The readings are faithful and accurate. Unfortunately, it only let's you see the upcoming week. You aren't able to look back at previous weeks or plan for weeks ahead. Too bad it's good but not as good as I expected.
