I darn near fainted.. it is THAT good!
The Silver Knife is one delicious surprise after another... after another... after another! Michael A. Stackpole brings his unparalled talent for plot twists and thrilling and chilling characters to the Holmes canon. I am already missing Farrell Holmes. Worth every penny and several dollars more!

Doctor Watson in a new light!
Very impressive. Jack has put away his past life and has lead a normal life with a wife. One night, after Jack’s wife has passed away, a wounded man finds Jack and asks for his help with the use of his silver knife. This makes Jack wary as he has not spoken of it in years. He has kept it a secret. Now Jack embarks on a new journey to help save a damsel in distress. Fighting zombies in the fog of night, Jack assists in a rescue.
The book is great, as one reviewer mentions there are many plot twists. You never know what a character will turn out to be. Very easy read, I don’t like to read much and I loved it! I would recommend this book to anyone who can appreciate a good fantasy read. Fantastic.
