LEGO Batman: Gotham City Games is a companion game to LEGO Batman designed exclusively for the iPhone and iPod touch.
Take on a variety of challenges thrown at you by the Heroes and Villains of Gotham. Throughout Gotham City you will find 16 classic stylized minigames that take you from deep within the heart of Wayne Manor, through the night’s sky piloting the swift LEGO Batwing, and even solve some of The Riddler’s most mind-bending puzzles. Each challenge is linked together by a brand new story, shown through beautiful hand rendered cut scenes, backed by a full orchestral soundtrack.
After completing the story mode you’ll realize that a Hero’s work is never done. Free play throws a new set of adventures your way. In this mode the games are longer and more challenging than in story mode giving you a more extended game experience. You will unlock new games, and challenge yourself by setting top scores on the leader boards.
Master each game to become a True Hero or True Villain to unlock bonus content including never-before-seen artwork, trailers and wallpapers. Wallpapers can be saved onto your pictures library and can be accessed via the settings menu on your iPhone or iPod touch to brighten up your handset.

DO NOT bother!!!!
This game is not what was originally pictured. And not Lego game at all. If it is Lego let it be like we are all accustomed to.
Is this a joke!?
How long does it take to update an app to make it compatible? This is fraud, plain & simple. The dev should refund everyone & Apple should protect its customers & remove this app until it's usable.
How long has iOS 4 been out? Because that's how long this app:
1) hasn't worked
2) tricked people into buying it
3) hasn't been updated to work
Please protect your customers and remove this app until it works. Also, give people their money back. This app is the textbook definition of a scam. Apple, you have the power to do something, but so far have chosen to be blind.
UPDATE: the dev's website is conveniently down so they're not even willing to let scammed customers complain to them. Please do something about this Apple!
UPDATE 2: it took them EIGHT MONTHS to update this app just so I can open it without it crashing. This developer has left such a bad taste in my mouth that even if this app could predict winning numbers for the Mega Millions I would still only give it one star.
It only took 18 months
Beware, my poor kid keeps hoping they will update and they haven't. It crashes on opening. If a developer hasn't updated their app for each major iOS update, Apple really should pull these things so people won't buy useless apps.
Edited- I went to their "Customer Support" site and there is no support. Only an endless round of home page, click on a character, choose customer support...back to home page. For those that spent the money on the app and never had a chance to play (my son at least got to play it) I suggest you contact Apple, Lego and Warner Bros about these people. It's pure fraud. They know they are getting money from a useless app.
Another edit- despite the promise of an iOS 4.0 update, this app has been functional for less time than it's been functional since the purchase. And 4.2 will be out soon- likely before the update. By the time this app is updated, my guess is my son will be old enough to program an app for himself.
Edit: 4.2 is out and no update..yet Warner Bros has put out new apps like the Harry Potter Lego app. Ripoff- Apple, I'm disappointed you let dead apps stay in the store. Obviously this dev has no plans to actually serve their customers.
EDIT: They have FINALLY updated this app. It's been nearly 18mos since it stopped working on my son's iPod. We paid the original $5 and he got less than a couple months of play before it started crashing. I've added a star b/c it's finally updated, but no more. The update took far too long, the support site offers no support and even Apple was no help when I complained. Apps like this should be removed from the store rather than selling when they don't work. Given this experience, I would NOT risk buying another app from the Warner Bros devs ever again.
