Need work
I like this program I can type faster but
There is no number one on the keyboard the page need to show more
The letter on the keyboard need to be a little bigger the program freeze up sometime
Where the one need to be the return key is there this need to be fix can not change from black to red color from keyboard I give this program three stars
But I will give more when the thing I outline are fix
Other then that this is a cool program
Underrated Brilliance
There is a certain magic, a certain joy that you'll get when typing on this retro typewriter - the sounds, the mechanics are all beautifully woven within this app. You'll find yourself spending the later part of your Sunday brekkie typing little bits of homespun poetry on the various "papers" like cardboard and lined. Highly inspirational.
Review of 1.0 version: not likely to meet your expectations
Cute idea. Very nice graphics and animations. But bug-ridden and almost unusable. Bugs include: frequent crashes (e.g., multiple times per minute, limited only by the cycle time of restarting the program), particularly around use of textures and paper; tough to type on keyboard (much less forgiving than the standard Apple keyboard); no auto-correction (such as with standard Apple keyboard); couldn't find a return key; exit button exits or crashes the entire app rather than returning to main menu; I could go on. Likely to be much more interesting when the developers complete a full QA cycle. I look forward to updates. I don't have enough sense of the app store and user expectations to decide between two stars and one star.
