Live Cams allows you to view and control thousands of public video cameras from around the world in real-time!

This app is the ORIGINAL and BEST public webcam viewer in the App Store. There are now over 125 copycat applications which have tried to duplicate our software since our January 2009 release. This application also allows you to enter and monitor your own JPEG-based webcams via URLs in addition to supporting hundreds of models of IP security cameras for private and secure viewing.
New cameras are added every week without the need to re-release the app binary!

App Features:
- Select cameras by categories such as Animals, Beaches, Landscape, Ski Hills, Attractions, People, Schools, Traffic etc
- Swipe through live-updating pages of thumbnail images (configurable grid size)
- Tap on a thumbnail to view the individual camera fullscreen
- Cameras that have motorized mounts can often be controlled. Press the Control button and then pan/tilt/zoom using the visible buttons/sliders.
- Choose from available preset positions for Pan-Tilt-Zoom devices
- Save cameras as favorites and recall them later using the favorites category
- Use third-party software like WebcamXP, Evocam, SecuritySpy or Blue Iris to stream live video from your personal webcam to the app!
NOTE: Works best on Wifi connections, but also works on 3G and Edge.

Fun for winter blues
This is a fun app for seeing sunny beaches in the middle of Midwestern winters. I would like to see some Las Vegas cameras!

I just read a few of these reviews--and wanted to make just a few comments:
1. Why would someone think this app is a game?
2. What do you expect for 99cents?
3. Related to that cost--do you think that these cameras have been paid for, set up and then selected by the developers for YOUR viewing pleasure? By country and state? For 99cents?
To those of you that have the time and money to see these amazing sights in person--congrats!
To the rest of us interested in the Tokyo skyline, the golf courses in Great Britain, and yes--the pandas in San Diego--I'd pay a lot more than a buck for the pleasure of seeing that bunny rabbit in Japan stare at me while eating greens..

I used to have good things to say about this developer, until he became obsessed with making money. Now he's released the same app with a slightly different name, asking for in-app purchases to obtain the same features already paid for in this version: Thief!
