One is better off with a real VNC client program
I bought this not realizing that it requires a service. That is the program connect to the logmein server in order to connect to remote computers. When you connect to a computer you have to go to that computer and use a web browser, log into the logmein server, and download/install a program for the remote computer. For Mac and Linux users (I don't know about Windows 7), one is better off buying a VNC app (search "vnc" in itunes) and connecting to the remote computers using the native remote desktop features provided by the system. There is no need to a "cloud service" (i.e. a logmein account) to store ones personal passwords and computer account information. Logmein currently gives one a free year subscription, but it looks like any any time they can start charging one $$ for the service. Save you money and use VNC. It is a computing standard.
Excellent App
I love this app. Works better than I thought it would. I use this app daily for my home iMac and also for my work PC. Over 3G it is very smooth. Using on EDGE isn't good though. Best $30 app I could buy. No regrets on dropping $30 on it.
Worth the Money!
I have Logmein Free and the least I could do was thank them by buying this app. Totally worth it. Seems like i use the service more on my iPhone than my laptop. Helping my family with their Macs are always at my fingertips.
