I could have Loved it
I could have loved this application, EXCEPT, i found two errors which, in my personal opinion, are unacceptable.
1. the volume of the voice which gives the child the instrctuction is WAY too low, you have to bring the ipad very close to the face in order to hear it, and this is in a totally quiet room and after muting the background music played by the app. The ipad volume seem to control ONLY the background music volume, so the user has no control of the volume of the voice which attempts to interact with the child.
2. We are learning here German, Spanish, Englsh... Spanish seems to play with the lowest volume of the three. ADDITIONALLY, at one point my child was supposed to spell VIOLIN in spanish (which is written the same as in english, but with an accent in the last i), BUT the letters available in the game spelled VIOLON! On such a simple vocab, i. Expect AT LEAST correct spelling.
UPDATE: sept. 8 2011... The upgrade was nonsense and just caused more trouble! I can no longer change the language, the title of the app is gone AND you still can't hear what Lola is asking! This app goes from mediocre to worse!
