Not worth $$, missing info
For a week in Copenhagen, I downloaded this, the GuidePal app (orange icon), and the CityScouter app (red icon). CityScouter wins, hands down-- it has a great transportation locator and a currency converter, built in! Plus all the feature LP has, but better presented. The LingoPal translator app also came in handy.
iOS 4
Maps and resolution updated for iOS and iPhone 4!
I can't wait to use this for my trip to Copenhagen. This is the quality I expect from Lonely Planet!
Very Useful
I guess there's not really any content here that's not available on the Lonely Planet website, but this is a very nice portable form factor. I like how you can bookmark things by saving them to your "favourites." There's also a nice interactive map that can help you find nearby places of interest.
I'd love a feature on the app where I can see just my favourites on the map. I will have to admit, there's less content on this Copenhagen app than some of the other city guides from Lonely Planet, like Berlin for example. It'd be nice to see that reflected in the price. Still, overall I think this app is very useful and worth it.
