Great concept, poorly executed
This game looks great, it is visually stunning on the iPhone. The variety of vehicles and tracks is amazing.
Dont get fooled, though, the second you start you will be automatically in last place. The other racers seem to go at least twice as fast as your vehicle, no matter what vehicle you choose. The power ups have no originality and the computer racers get the fire power up and the boost power up, so you are further prevented from catching up with them. The only power up left for you is the drop mine, which is useless considering you are in last place.
The tracks themselves look appealing to the eye and are stunning, but eventually after playing a while they all appear to be the same and feel like they are the same track.
Overall, the game presents an old and traditional concept, but when executed in the form of Low Grav Racer, it just doesn't measure up to other racing games. Low Grav Racer's sales rely totally on the ignorant people that think the graphics look pretty. Don't waste your money on a poorly made game.
Okay,but kinda bad
It's a fun game.I mean it.But there are more cons than pros to it. pros: good graphics easy controlling cons: always start in last all vehicles are faster than yours no matter which vehicle it is they get power ups so you don't This game is fun,but it should be a little easier.
Please add difficulty settings!
I really like the looks of this game and it handles well. But it always seems the A.I. racers are faster no matter what.
Please add easy, medium, hard settings, so that those of us who just want to race easily can and those that want a hard challenge get that too.
The developers do seem to listen so I hope since I and others have asked for these options, they will include them in an update.
Thanks for continuing to improve this game! If difficulty settings get added, I will give this game 5 stars!
Wifi racing challenges with friends would also be a great update!
