MailMe Voice is the quickest way to get all those things that you need to remember straight to your e-mail inbox.
Just start the application. Talk into the microphone, and click send. Done!
The note now appears as a voice message in your eMail inbox as a message sent from "MailMe Voice".
Since the messages are sent from "MailMe Voice" you can create rules in your e-mail application to e.g. highlight them, or automatically move the messages to a specific mailbox.

Works as advertised.
Simple and instantaneous with Gmail. Love it.
impractical
Creates wave files. You must be online either via wifi or cell data, otherwise your recording is lost. Author originally said recordings are queued for later transmission if you make recordings with no wifi or cell data available but all my recordings made with no data connection were simply lost. Also, when you open the app it immediately begins recording, which seems nice until you just want to change settings or otherwise interact with the app without recording. Plus, again back to the requirement for a data connection, you end up waiting while it tries to transmit the wave file, then returns an error message. I wanted to buy the full app but since this one fails in these ways and the author didn't respond to them, it's a bust for me.
