Nice app!
Enjoyed using this on a trip to the Maine coast just a week ago. I look forward to future updates.
Very visual and easy to use
Probably the best Maine Guide available (that I could find at least ) on iTunes. Nice mapping functions, slideshow, links off of pix for more info and mapping info. Well thought out. Easy.
Couple of improvements needed:
Sort by your location- I saw places in the slideshow that were cool, but only after I drilled down into the map function was it shown ( but visually well done) how far away the Point of Interest was. If the App could sort by my location or by town it would save a lot of time.
The general map does show picture thumbs of POI's near a location but each much be zoomed in to determine what it is or to reveal a name tag.
Exit off Map - The Map function sometimes will not allow you to exit back to the App. On one of the pictures I went to the map and could not see the top menu to navigate back to the slideshow. Likely an programming error for that one attraction.
No Help - there is no help, FAQs, icon explanations. I also saw a "$2" reference on one of the map locations Picon ( a Pic icon ) and did not know its meaning.
This is a very cool program, and with a few tweaks, would earn five stars from me. Come on Updates!
Nice idea but...
It's too expensive for the limited amount it gives you.
