The Mellotron is an vintage sampling keyboard by analog tapes. The Mellotron had a strong impact on rock music, becoming a trademark sound of the progressive rock bands. It has been featured on the following songs & albums,

Excellent sound quality - please add the choir and a setting for larger keys.
Most authentic 'tron, and fun
Manetron is a much simpler app than ellatron, there's only three tape frame banks and one keyboard manual. But what a sound!! The operational noise and quirks have been lovingly recreated, including the 7 second note limit, motor hum, and tape rewind noises.
I sometimes get a bug where notes die and cannot be re-triggered, maybe it's an emulated tape snapping? Star off for that annouance, but it is a super fun app, it makes me smile, and the sound beats ellatron, so highly recommended overall
Great sound, needs work
Really good sound, way better than ellatron. I really like having the full sample as there are weird pitch drift and dynamic fluctuations that make it more interesting to listen to. It would be nice if they looped at the end of the sample though. However, there are weird inconsistent clicks on attack and release which are totally unpredictable (could be CPU issues). Also some notes will just stop sounding for no reason when trying to press them again.
Also, to the developer, make sure that close voicings (ie half step and whole step) chords are consistently playable throughout the range. The playability of the keyboard is inconsistent.
Anyway, once it's more playable and free from glitching it will be a no brainer, as it sounds great. I'd love to see more tape banks in the future.
