Sound effects--option to TURN THEM OFF
UI needs some work, but the concept is sound & looks to be a winner for primary-school age kids. But the sounds are annoying as all get out. Perhaps a chirp or ding or buzz? I've spent many years tutoring & working with children, often on the computer. They'd no more enjoy the sounds in this game than I. In addition, it would be nice to be able to pause/resume the game. Unless I'm missing something, the only way to quit is to exit the game & restart--at level one.
Looks cute, HORRIBLE interface
An adult couldn't even get the game started because the intro screen controls were unintuitive and virtually unresponsive. Once the app was finally able to be started, game play was horrific as items on the screen were way to large to maneuver, and the game play progresses too fast for even an adult to attempt to answer in time. Glad I did not have to pay for the app in order to find these things out...
Awesome app!
I worked math problems with my 7 year old daughter until we were both blue in the face. We did flash cards, rewards, everything! Nothing truly gave her that extra boost. So, in desperation, I got this app for her to play in the car. She loves the game, I love the results!
I've seen a HUGE improvement in her timed math facts tests!! I'm glad I got this app!
