Please add timed games
Nice app! The lessons are useful, and it is well worth the price. A couple of suggestions, however:
- The reason I bought this app was to become fast at doing mental math, so it would be great to have an option to time your games and race against your old speed records.
- I would really like to have the option to fill in a blank, rather than multiple choice. In the real world you're often in situations where it would be great to rattle off the answer to a difficult computation, and there are almost never answers to choose from.
- I would love to have the option to not need to get exact answers, but to try to get within 1% or 10% of the answer. Again, this is often very useful in real world problems.
- Finally, it would be great to have some more complex types of problems available, such as square roots, logs, different exponents, etc. (This would almost certainly need to go hand in hand with allowing approximate answers, since many answers would involve irrational numbers.)

Great app
Very time consuming. But will improve your math skills. Not the most appropriate app to learn the fundamentals though. More for shortcuts.
Fantastic
This teaches you all those little tricks in arithmetic.
You need to know the fundamentals extremely well and be able to do simple manipulation and recollection in your mind to do these tricks. The app is very helpful when you need it to be, but still challenges you. If a user sticks to the app for a half hour a day or so, theyll see huge progress made within a few uses.
The only downside is people around the office will start using you as a human calculator by shouting pairs of numbers at you across the room.
